Test Pressure Method for Various Valves

1. Ball valve pressure test method
The strength test of the pneumatic ball valve should be carried out with the ball half open.
1) Floating ball valve sealing test: the valve is kept half open, one end introduces the test medium, and the other end is closed. Rotate the ball many times, open the closed end when the valve is closed, check the sealing performance of the filler and gasket, and do not leak. Then introduce experimental media at the other end and repeat the above experiment.
2) Seal test of fixed ball valve: rotate the ball several times before the test, close the fixed ball valve, and attract the test medium to the specified value at one end. Check the sealing performance of the pressure gauge inlet, use the pressure gauge with an accuracy of 0.5 to 1, and the range is 1.5 times the experimental pressure. When the time is specified, no depressurization phenomenon is qualified. Then introduce experimental media at the other end and repeat the above experiment. Then, keep the valve half-open, close both ends, and the inner cavity is filled with medium. When checking the filling and gasket under the test pressure, do not leak.

3) The three-way ball valve should be tested for sealing at all positions.


2. Check valve
Check valve test state: the lifter check valve shaft is in a position perpendicular to the horizontal. The axis of the rotary check valve channel and the valve axis are located almost parallel to the horizontal line. During the strength test, the test medium is introduced from the inlet end to the specified value, and the other end is closed. It is qualified to see that the valve and the valve do not leak. In the sealing test, the test medium is introduced at the outlet, and the sealing surface is checked at the inlet end. It is qualified that the filler and gasket do not leak.


3. Gate valve

The valve opens and the pressure of the valve rises to the specified value. Then, close the gate and immediately take out the gate valve to check whether the sealing parts on both sides of the gate leak, or inject the test medium directly into the plug of the valve cover, inject the specified value, and then check the sealing parts on both sides of the gate.


4. Butterfly valve
The strength test of the pneumatic butterfly valve is the same as that of the globe valve. The sealing performance test of the butterfly valve needs to introduce the experimental medium into the medium flow, the butterfly plate is opened, the other end is closed, and the pressure is injected into the specified value. After checking the filling and other sealed parts for leaks, close the butterfly plate, open the other end, and check if the butterfly plate seals for leakage. The butterfly valve for flow adjustment is not tested for sealing performance.


5. Safety valve
The strength test of the safety valve is the same as that of other valves. It is tested with water. When testing the lower part of the valve, the pressure enters from the I=I side and the sealing surface is closed. When testing the top of the valve and the valve cover, the pressure enters from the El end and the other end is closed. The phenomenon that the valve and the valve do not leak water within the specified time is qualified.
