Pneumatic flanged butterfly valve is composed of flange butterfly valve and pneumatic actuator. The flanges at both ends of butterfly valve body are connected with pipeline flange, which has the advantages of relatively reliable sealing performance.
Pneumatic flanged butterfly valve can be divided into elastic seal and metal seal according to the sealing form. The elastic seal materials include NBR and fluororubber, the hard seal butterfly valve is multi-layer metal hard seal, which has the advantages of elastic seal and excellent sealing performance at low temperature. Compared with the clip type butterfly valve, the pneumatic flanged butterfly valve has higher pressure resistance. Generally, the flange type butterfly valve is used in the high pressure condition.
